Idaho E-Book Readers Will Get $2 Million In Compensation
Idaho Attorney General Lawrence Wasden has announced that hundreds of Idahoans who bought E-Book downloads will start to receive credits as soon as this week.
The credits will be provided thanks to a price-fixing lawsuit that 32 states including Idaho filed (and won) against Apple, Inc. for inflating the prices of E-Books with 5 of the largest publishers.
Although Apple had appealed to the Supreme Court, they denied a review of a lower court ruling and, therefore, the credit process will begin.
