How Do You Say: Chinden? We Have A Slight Disagreement

I've lived in the Treasure Valley for the last two years, and I think I've learned a good chunk of unique names and places here in our city.  Today, I realized I might be saying Chinden incorrectly.

Producer JD was born and raised in Boise, and when he pronounced the street name in question he said "Shin"den, instead of "Chin"den (which is how I've always heard it).
