Ground Breaking Ceremony for the New Meridian YMCA facility

A groundbreaking ceremony took place yesterday for the South Meridian Family YMCA facility near Eagle and Amity roads.

Once complete, the 62,000 square-foot facility will have a youth development center, fitness areas, group exercise studios, classrooms, and a teaching kitchen.

It will also have a space devoted to St. Luke's Health System wellness services and an aquatic center and a Meridian Library branch are also proposed for the site.
