I'm lucky everyday I get home from work as I am greeted by my two dogs Koda and Gypsy. They are a huge part of my life and I would be lost if for any reason we would get separated. That's why Savannah and I got them microchip'ed prior to us picking them up from each of the rescue facilities. But if you still need to get your pet a microchip, you're in luck there is an event in Boise coming up where you can get your pet microchip'ed for free.

It's taking place on Wednesday, October 17th from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Larry H Miller Subaru in Boise. This event is in partnership with the Idaho Humane Society, it will offer free on-site micro-chipping for 100 pets. It's first come, first served. Limit one microchip per family and dogs or cats only.

The Idaho Humane society will also have some furry friends that will be available for adoption, and the adoption fees will be waived thanks to a grant by Subaru of America and the ASPCA. There will also be a dog and cat food and toy donation bin on site, no donation is required by always appreciated.
