Former SNL Cast Member is Coming to the Knitting Factory This Week
Fred Armisen has popped up on a bunch of TV shows since leaving Saturday Night Live, and he'll turn up later this week in Boise too.
Fred Armisen had a long run on SNL that started in 2002, and by the time he left in 2013, he had become the third-longest tenured cast member behind Darrell Hammond and Seth Meyers. He nailed some celebrity impressions, and nobody was off limits, including Barak Obama, Steve Jobs, Prince, Sadam Hussein, Larry King, and Joy Behar. He might break into a few of those this week at the Boise show. Hope so!
Since leaving SNL, Armisen has made appearances on shows like Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Michael Bolton's Big, Sexy Valentine's Day Special, and right now he's a co-writer and co-star of IFC's Portlandia. That was him in The Lego Ninjago Movie too.
Jacqueline Novak joins Fred Armisen at the Knitting Factory this Thursday night. You might know Jacqueline Novak from the Late Late Show with James Corden, and for a streaming special that has caught on with Comedy Central. Sounds like a great date night.
Doors open at 7pm on Thursday, July 6th, and the show starts at 8pm. There are still tickets available, and it's an all ages show.
