Even With Shortened Float Season, Ada County Happy With Results
We have talked a lot about the end of the shortest official Boise River Float Season in history, but Ada County has announced they are very pleased with the results.
This year's season lasted only 38 days, but opening day on July 29th was the best revenue day for equipment rental and shuttle bus usage ever. The final report shows that even with so little time, the county earned near 65% of the revenue they would have expected for a full season.
There were record setting weekends throughout the season this summer. Labor Day weekend was the third highest weekend total ever.
The shuttle buses served around 20,000 people this year.
KBOI Channel 2 has more on the results this season.
