If you love eating or cooking chicken wings you better be at the eighteenth annual wing off in Meridian on Saturday, June 15th. The event is held each year by the Kiwanis Club and will get started around 11 a.m. and goes on until 4 p.m.

You can purchase your tickets and wristbands for the event here. The wristband will get you all you can eat wings plus 20 raffle tickets for $15. The price will increase to $20 on the day of the event. If you purchase wristbands now you can pick them up at will call upon arrival at the event.

You will find different flavored wings of all flavors and you better bring your appetite. The wing off will take place at Julius M. Kleiner Park so please follow all park rules.

There is no entry fee is you want to enter the cooking portion of the competition and you do have a chance to take home some prize money. Although if you're like me, I would be more interesting in eating than cooking some delicious chicken wings.

If you want more details on the Wing Off check out their website here.
