In a season where everything seems to be canceled another fireworks show will not be happening in 2020. No doubt the 4th of July will be a very different experience this year, but it's sad to see that this is not going to happen.

Fireworks at Eagle Fun Days will not happen due to the county being moved back to phase 3. A drive-in style event was how the city originally planned to handle things, but now the plug has been pulled on the entire show. There really wasn't much of an option after the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation revoked the permit for Eagle Island State Park. The fireworks display was supposed to happen on July 10th.

A spokesperson for the City of Eagle did make a statement to idahonews.com saying,

"We are disappointed with this outcome and know many of our residents will be as well. We hope to make it up to everyone with a bigger, better celebration next year for Eagle's 50th Anniversary"

Also keep in mind that several Idaho cities are mandating the use of face masks including McCall, Moscow, and Hailey.
