Dairy Queen’s Pumpkin Pie Blizzards Return to Boise Before Labor Day
This is extremely satisfying news if you're someone who's not quite ready to let summer go but also can't wait to sink your teeth into some pumpkin-y goodness!
When we were at Albertsons the other night, I spent a pretty significant amount of time hovering in front of the cooler where coffee creamer lives. My husband knew exactly what I was doing - searching high and low for any type of pumpkin spice creamer. I'm a proud member of Starbucks' "Leaf Rakers Society" group on Facebook and some of my fellow leaf rakers have been posting photos of displays of the company's Pumpkin Spice Latte creamer in their hometowns. Unfortunately, I quickly realized my Albertsons doesn't carrying Starbucks creamer...and I normally can't find the Coffeemate Pumpkin Spice creamer until mid-September. 😭
What's a girl gotta do to get her hands on something pumpkin flavored?! Apparently, wait until Monday, August 26 to walk over the the Dairy Queen a few hundred yards from my apartment. According to Elite Daily, that's the first day we'll be able to find DQ's Pumpkin Pie Blizzard in the Treasure Valley! The blizzard includes real pumpkin pie pieces and a touch of nutmeg swirled into vanilla soft serve...so basically its the perfect way to satisfy your pumpkin craving after enjoying one of your final floats down the Boise River in 2019!
BTW, if you can't wait a few more weeks for the arrival of the Pumpkin Pie Blizzard or the rumored return of the PSL...my friends at Zero Six Coffee Fix on Parkcenter have pumpkin spice year around. I think I may be the only person who orders it out of season, but its there waiting for another pumpkin spice addict to enjoy!
