Crews Respond to a Brush Fire in the Boise Foothills
Crews have been working hard on the scene of a brush fire in the Boise foothills since it was reported at around 8:30 p.m. last night. The Boise Fire Department said it was human caused.
Boise, Eagle, Middleton, Kuna, Meridian, and Star Fire Departments, as well as BLM and Idaho National Guard responded to the fire at the area around Hill Road and Plano Lane.
It was contained to about 200 acres as of 3 a.m. this morning. Several homes needed to be evacuated, but as of early this morning, no structures seemed to be lost in the fire.
