Rent This Truly Unique (and STUNNING) Dome Home in Boise Foothills

I love stumbling across a gorgeous house on Airbnb that I could never afford to personally own, but I could pretend to for a night or two.

A new Dome Home nestled in the Boise Foothills, just 2.6 miles above downtown is now available for rent. This is truly a unique and gorgeous home! If you don't know what a dome home is, according to pacificdomes.com, it's a "geodesic dome is a hemispherical thin-shell structure based on a geodesic polyhedron." In English, it's a house with doors and windows just like any house except it's in the shape of a sphere or rounded ellipsoid.

It's evident that the owners put a lot of work in creating this dream home! The house was built in 1983 and was purchased by the current owners in 2008. LOTS of renovations went in to it that were officially completed earlier this year. Now it's up on Airbnb for anyone to rent for $239 a night.

There are four sleeping spaces and 2.5 bathrooms. The common area features a flowing open concept. The outside space is just as stunning as the inside is and is perfect for catching a sunset. Since the home is primarily underground being a dome home, the rooftop also serves as a backward. The space is kid-friendly too! The garage functions as a family game room / personal gym. Personally, the bathrooms and showers are my favorite part.
