Boise’s Home for the Best Breakfast Cocktails
It seems like having a drink at breakfast has become more and more popular lately. Maybe not starting the day with a Long Island Iced Tea to be hammered by noon. But a Mimosa or Bloody Mary to start the day is not out of the normal.
Over the weekend Savannah and I ventured downtown Boise to try out a new restaurant. We had heard so many people saying good things about 'Fork' we wanted to check it out for ourselves.
Savannah made a reservation through an App but we we're early so we walked about the Boise Market for a while before sitting down to eat. The market was a lot of fun with tons of local goods, I highly suggest checking it out on Saturday's before it shuts down at 2 p.m.
Upon arrival at 'Fork' they we're getting busy so we decided to grab two seats at the bar, and we are really glad we did. Our server/bartender was David and he was fantastic. Very attentive to us, friendly to everyone at the bar, and very knowledgeable about everything on the menu.
While I just grabbed a beer (my favorite the 'Cali Creamin' from Mother Earth Brewing Co.), Savannah got the bartenders special which was served with Buffalo Trace Bourbon, plus a combination of juice and fresh fruit. The cocktail created was delicious, way better than a Mimosa or Bloody Mary.
If you're looking for amazing food and drinks to start your day downtown Boise, you will not be disappointed stopping into Fork. Speaking of, where is your favorite spot to grab drinks early in the day?
