When it comes to Gem State parks, Idahoans have quite a bit to say. From bogus jungle gyms to disturbing restroom conditions, Idaho's community of reviewers are drilling down on the state of local playgrounds.
Onesies and Twosies
If the road to hell is paved with good intentions, one could say the same about the road to the playground.
We'd like to think most of these one and two-star reviews led with the best of intentions. After all, who wouldn't appreciate a heads-up about cola-thirsty warrior wasps or insight on shady park squatters?
But, sadly there's a big ole 'but' in the room. A few of these reviews read more like unhinged rants from petulant adults searching for something to b!+*h about.
Get It, Momma
Voicing concern over finding used contraceptives by the swing set? By all means, swing away, Momma. It's as much a threat to public health as it is to childhood innocence. And let's be honest, it's repulsive.
Then there's the guy who left a one-star review for a park he had never even visited. How do we know this? Homie said so. And there was no beating around the bush about it.
The troll tacked a one-star rating on City Acres Park in Nampa and wrote, "I have not been there."
We haven't the words, ya'll.
