Boise Girls Scouts Unveil New Cookie For 2022

The past year and a half have been challenging for everyone including the Boise Girls Scouts. At one point my friend Mateo got himself and me (without my permission) involved in an interesting situation. Yes we became honorary Girls scouts for the day. I know the thought of that is not pleasant  but when he found out that the girls needed help he didn't hesitate to volunteer our services. The mission was to sell all of the Girl Scout cookies that were left over after COVID put a stop to the regularly scheduled cookies sale season.

I remember spending a cold and rainy Saturday morning in the Meridian Jump Time parking lot handing box after box to smiling fans of the delicious and addicting cookies as they made their way into the "drive thru cookie line". I would be lying if I said that I didn't get to partake in a box or two of Samoa's. At the end of the day we were glad to help.

Today I'm glad to share that the Boise girls scouts will have a new cookie for you in 2022. By the way the new cookie happens to feature a caramel-flavored crème and a hint of sea salt on top of a brownie inspired cookie.
