Boise Company Wins Major Award At Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas
A Boise based company, called Black Box VR, has been named CES (Consumer Electrons Show) 2018 Innovation Awards Honoree for its innovative resistance-based virtual reality fitness product.
The Black Box VR studio was developed to be the world’s first fully automated cable resistance machine that integrates virtual reality hardware and original virtual eSport.
Founded by two, fitness fanatics, Boise residents, Ryan DeLuca and Preston Lewis, who you might recognize from their time at the highly successful Boise based company Bodybuilding.com where their team spent years building the company into the largest online supplement retailer in the world.
After selling the company, Preston and Ryan decided to start their new venture called Black Box VR. The idea was to create an innovative experience that creates lasting change in people’s lives when it comes to physical fitness. Their hope and goal is that Black Box VR will redefine fitness for everyone.
Considering all the new products and innovations introduced every year at the CES, this is a pretty amazing accomplishment, so congratulations to everyone at Black Box VR
