Are You Surprised Where Idaho Ranks On The ‘Grossest States’ List?
Air quality, landfills or people who google "mayonnaise recipes." What tipped the scales to put give Idaho this rank?
Zippia released its list of the GROSSEST STATES in the United States and Alaska is the LEAST GROSS! The most gross? Well, that title goes to our friends in Virginia! Here's what Ziippia based the criteria on:
- Dirty air
- Trash, or the percentage of each state that is landfill
- Spread of illness like the flu
- Plus people who search:
- Mayo recipes
- Croc wearing
The great news is that Idaho, while it isn't the LEAST gross, is low on the list. We're in the bottom ten, specifically at number 47. I'l take 47/50 and I'm SO glad that we're not all searching for gross mayonnaise recipes and croc wearing. Now, I spent a bit of time in Virginia, and to their credit, didn't find it to be particularly gross. I never noticed an abundance of mayonnaise, I never really noticed people wearing crocs. If I had to guess what contributed to this, I'd guess it would be the air quality in the Northern Virginia, Washington D.C. suburbs. That's just a guess.
I think the great thing about Idaho, is with such a small population, we'll never have landfills like other states and without the extremely congested traffic, we'll never have the air quality problem that some other states have as well. And I'd like to think that I, John Moug from Moug and Angie Mornings on Mix 106, bring our grossness levels down in Idaho because I HATE MAYONNAISE!
