Looking for something fun to do with the kids? My wife grew up taking trips to Ceramica here in Boise, and she took our son our son was he was little. Lennox gets so sucked in with anything that challenges him like that.

We're all living in this place where finding things is becoming scarce. We all believe this Summer could be different as things open more, but Ceramica in Boise could be a winner for your kids.

Ceramica is a fun spot to go sit with your kids for a couple of hours of some quality time and you can even join in too. Make a reservation for a two-hour time slot and choose from over 300 unfinished pottery pieces to paint. You only pay one all-inclusive price which covers the pottery piece, paint, supplies, kiln firing, and sales tax. Prices can range anywhere from $5-$85 depending on what you choose to paint.

Once you are finished painting you leave your project there and pick it up about a week later once it has been put in the kiln and glazed! Our son chose to paint an airplane figurine and was so excited to pick up his finished product and loved how it turned out!

Do you remember doing things like that as a kid when you would paint them and bake in the oven? I can't do that here because I'd blow up the house using self-clean (that's an entirely different story. Never use self-clean!)

Right now during Covid, Ceramica is taking the safety precautions to make you feel comfortable and safe. They ask that you call ahead to reserve your time and wear a mask. Due to reduced studio capacity, they are also asking that everyone coming for a reservation paints a pottery piece.

Ceramica will be open every day of spring break week which begins March 22 - March 26.. They even offer fun Field-Trip-To-Go Packages to Daycare, Preschool, and Summer Camp providers.

Ceramica has been a great, local spot for birthdays, group events, ladies nights, or like I said a fun way to spend quality, quiet time with your kids and let them use their imagination. I know several women that use this as bonding time with the girls.
