12 Days Of ChristMIX Toy Drive: Day 8 Recap

Once again we smashed TWO major milestones and surpassed a goal in one day! Get caught up on the 12 Days Of ChristMIX Toy Drive here!

So the real cash and gift card story started last night after I had finished my recap and as Angie and I were getting ready to pack up for the night. This guy came by with $900 in Target gift cards and wanted to remain anonymous at about 8 pm. So we got to kick off the morning show this morning by announcing that we hit our $5,000 goal. This is HUGE! Well, we we're well over that $5,000 goal by 12:30 pm when Epic Realty from inside The Village rolled through with a check for $555, which took us over the $6,000 cash goal which is amazing! Tonight we're sitting at $6,128 getting ready to head into day #9 and have readjusted our goal one more time to $7,500. Very exciting!

We ended up getting a few more bikes today which has brought us up to 45. Our goal is and has been 50 bikes since the beginning, so we're pretty excited about how close we are to hitting that.

Lastly, we do still have some room inside our 53' Giltner semi truck trailer for some toys so we'd like to get that filled and move on to the next one. One thing at a time but I'm very happy with how we've done so far! Thanks to everyone who has come by so far and everyone still to come, and for following along with the whole thing!
