12 Days Of ChristMIX Toy Drive Toy Drive: Day 3 Recap

Day Three of The 12 Days Of ChristMIX was AMAZING! I'll get you caught up with where we are on our goals!

We started day three (Saturday) with a TOTAL of 10 bikes from the past two days. We had a couple drop by early this morning with bikes, gift cards and toys and didn't want their names to be known, just asked to be referred to as "secret santa". So we thanked them and continued on. Throughout the day a lot of people came by and brought our bike total (as of 6:53 pm) to 21! That's nearly half way to our 12 day goal!

After yesterday, we had reset our gift card goal to 2,000 and that goal was smashed when Del Taco came through with $500 in gift cards so we've now reset that to $5,000!!! It sounds wild, but the Treasure Valley sure is coming through!

Lastly, we have this massive, fifty three foot truck we're trying to fill with toys and that thing is a beast. It's going to be difficult but we still have several days so I'm holding out hope! We're here 24/7 until Monday the 14th at 10 am. That means that we still have approximately nine more days to get it done. We're working with The Boise Rescue Mission, The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Idaho, the Women's and Children's Alliance and the Idaho Office For Refugees.
