Can I say how much I love writing this article? The pandemic has assisted in suffocating those special non-profits and annual fundraisers for the things that matter most.

Some of my favorite Idahoans are giving back today and it's so important that we show up. Saint Alphonsus is teaming up with Human Bean for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

I was just reading that 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer. We missed our Race for the Cure this year because nothing has been normal. Virtual ways to do things have become the way right now. Today, Human Bean is giving back in a safe way that everyone can be involved.

Go through any Human Bean location today and the donations of the days sales will go to Saint Alphonsus Breast Cancer Research Fund. The team at the Human Bean set a $22,500 goal across all their locations.

It was exactly 8 months ago that I was taken to Saint Alphonsus due to a serious head injury. My skull was fractured, the internal bleeding was serious and I didn't even know who my family was. It was a Traumatic Brain Injury. Very scary.

I was out for five weeks and miraculously regained most of my memory. I think I'm doing great, back on the air and very thankful to everyone at Saint Alphonsus. We had both of our children at that amazing hospital and you can see why it's personal for me.

The teams at Saint Alphonsus live on the front lines. Breast Cancer could be knocking at anyone's door and this fund helps. Let's go through and grab a Snowy Double Chocolate mocha or Mexi Mocha. Buy water. Everything helps.

Drive-thru one of their 10+ locations from Boise, Meridian, Caldwell, and Star. This is for Friday, Oct. 23 only. Get a drink!

Enjoy! Oh, Big shout out to all our survivors. You are truly an inspiration and we adore you 💝
