Woman Found Dead Under Car in Malheur County
58-year-old Marcelina Flores Piedra was found dead underneath her car last night and police say it doesn't appear to be a simple accident.
Marcelina is a longtime resident of Vale, Oregon. Police were originally called to the scene when they were tipped off about a possible car crash last night at about 8 o'clock at the intersection of Clark Boulevard and Onion Avenue.
According to an article on KTVB that details what happened, police quickly noticed Marcelina under her car and although they tried to revive her, their efforts were unsuccessful.
Marcelina was underneath the passenger seat of her car and it appears that she was hit by another car, which led to her fatal injuries.
Police are calling her death "unexplained, leaning towards suspicious."
If anyone has any information on what happened, you are being encouraged to contact the Malheur County Police department and if you have any information on what Marcelina may have been doing during the day or who she may have been with, please come forward.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who loved this woman and we hope that they get some answers that give them closure very soon.
