It's funny to me that when candy corn is mentioned, most people groan and talk about how they hate it. Yet, 35 million pounds of the creamy candy are made each year. They wouldn't make it if people weren't buying it. There's even an entire segment on Modern Marvels about the making of candy corn. It's pretty fascinating how much science goes into the most hated/loved Halloween candy!
