I love March Madness. I love the excitement and finality of one and done. I love that any team, no matter how small has an equal chance to win the same amount of games as anybody else to win the National Championship...but most of all I love the chance to win money filling out my bracket and this year that could be a billion dollars. It’s not impossible to fill out a perfect NCAA tournament bracket, but it’s as close to impossible as you can get. There are 9,223,372,036,854,775,808 different ways to fill out a bracket.....That's sum is 9 quintillion by the way…

If you know a little something about basketball, you will have have slightly better odds (around 1-in-128 billion), the parity in college basketball this year will make the 2014 bracket one of the hardest in recent memory to fill out come March.

This year if you fill out a perfect bracket, you could win $1 billion dollars. If someone beats the odds, Warren Buffett will foot the bill.  A grand-prize winner can choose to receive $25 million per year for 40 years, or a lump-sum payment of $500 million. If no one wins 1 billion, then you could also win $100,000 if you are one of the top 20 brackets submitted, so at least some money will change hands.  It's only January, but I can't wait till the madness begins in March....I am already trying to come up with ways to spend my new found wealth....what about you?
