It's always been a fan favorite, but Boise State fans haven't had a reason to wear their black Bronco gear since 2016.

Back in 2012, some Bronco fans weren't exactly sure what to make what to make of the new black uniforms Nike unveiled for the team.  The uniforms were nearly identical to the Nike Pro Combat uniforms the team wore throughout season, but were predominantly black with only hints of the school's famous blue and orange showing up in the lettering and numbering. For those who didn't like the uniforms, it may have been because the wounds of being banned from wearing all blue uniforms on "The Blue" for Mountain West Conference games were still pretty fresh.

With the new jerseys came a new color scheme for fans attending the games.  On October 20, 2012 fans were asked to wear "Bronco Blackout" gear to the very same game that the new uniforms made their debut. It looked incredibly cool and the "Blackout" became an instant hit.

Despite its popularity, the stadium color scheme has been absent from the schedule since the Boise State vs San Jose State game in November 2016.

That is...until September 20 of this year! Boise State unveiled the color schemes for the 2019 season this afternoon and the blackout is back for this year's match-up against conference rivals, Air Force!

Here's a look at all of the color schemes for this year!
