Uber Eats Gets Some Competition in the Treasure Valley
Many of us were excited when Uber Eats added Boise to their cities they serve. Now, especially for Canyon County and the West Side, there is another option for food delivery.
As I was reading the Idaho Statesman I was excited to find out about Boise Food Express. Boise Food Express has started delivery to Nampa and will be covering Meridian, Eagle, and some sections of West Boise in addition. Since Canyon County wasn't served by Uber Eats, Boise Food Express feels they can fill the need for those of us that live in the western cities of the Treasure Valley.
The "Food Express" model has been tested before (and it's part of a national company that offers franchises across the country). There are already versions of the company in Idaho Falls, Pocatello, and Twin Falls.
The owner launched in Nampa not just because of it not being served by other services, but also because he lives there. Nampa restaurants that are part of the service so far include El Cafetal, Monsoon Asian Grill, Sino Buffet, and Chapala among others.
They are planning to expand zip codes served and restaurants they partner with in the coming days.
To try out Boise Food Express, you can download the Five Star Food Express app (on either iPhone or Android), by calling 208-825-3688, or at BoiseFood.Express.
