Boise's Christmas tree is making its way to its new home at the Grove Plaza!

It’s a 40-year-old blue spruce donated by a family in west Boise.
The family that is donating it said they bought it from a nursery years ago and they used it for an indoor Christmas tree and then they planted it. They would put lights on it at Christmas time until it got so big they couldn’t reach the top.

So the cool thing about this tree is that it started as a Christmas tree and its ending up as a Christmas tree.

The tree lighting event at the Grove Plaza is on Friday, Nov. 25 from 5:30 p.m.-7 p.m.
