Things to Do on Galentine’s Day [That’s Today]
It's the greatest day of the year ladies! Galentine's Day is here! This is when you leave your men, grab the girls, and celebrate each other. At least that's what Amy Poehler's character on Parks and Recreation says.
February 13 has been solidified by women across the country as Galentine's Day and we've been digging for things that would make all your girls happy 💗
Humpin' Hannah's Happy Hump Night!
There is no doubt that owner and Treasure Valley Icon, Rocci Johnson will be hosting the biggest party in Downtown Boise. Every Wednesday night Rocci always throws a big ladies night party and tonight will be no different. Well, maybe some extra toys for the ladies 🎉
- No cover
- $2 shots
- $2 wells
- $2 beers
- Prizes from Pleasure Boutique
- Live music from Rocci Johnson Band
This made such a splash when it opened and is still my favorite spot in Boise. It's Galentine's Day tonight and if you can't get away this might be a great time to make that reservation for Thursday night. Barbacoa's Martini Ice glass is still one of it's kind.
Chef Enrique Martinez has just unveiled his Valentine's Menu. I've listed it below and you MUST call ahead like...right now. 208.338.5000
Chandler's Steakhouse in Downtown Boise
Ladies get your high-class chill on at Chandler's inside Hotel 43 in Downtown Boise. They are doing a $55 prix fixe on Valentine's so if that works better - CALL NOW! If you're celebrating your girls on this Galentine's Day just stop by the bar for a drink. Chandler's always has a local musician playing to set the tone and there's nothing like Chandler's bar vibe in that low dim lighting. Super swag moment.
Diablo and Sons in Downtown Boise
Described as a Great Gatsby vibe with their signature Ice Cream Tacos. Definitely a starter spot with your girls on Galentine's Day and you might even meet your own Leonardo DiCaprio at the bar.
You can't ever go wrong with stopping by the Village at Meridian. Grab the girls and whether you're looking for sushi at Kona Grill, Martinis from Twigs, or wine sampling from Bodovino, The Village is a no brainer.
Where did this Galentine's Day thing really come from? See for yourself.
