Valentine's Day is fast approaching, which means Galentine's Day is too! As much as I love celebrating romantic love, the love between a group of girlfriends is bonding on a level that deserves equal celebration. Hence, Galentine's Day, a celebration of female friendship!  The term was made famous on and episode of Parks and Recreation in 2010 where character Leslie Knope gathered her gal pals for a day of food, drinks, and little gifts (including a personalized 5,000 word essay on why each woman is awesome).

I've celebrated the last three years, and I highly recommend it. Officially, Galentine's Day is February 13th. This year I'll be joining my girlfriends for a brunch at The Hyde House, the perfect spot for a cute view and bottomless mimosas with your girlfriends. I was just there a couple of weeks ago to enjoy the vegan yellow curry and great conversation with one of my dearest friends.

The Hyde House offers brunch on weekends from 9am-3pm. Reservations are encouraged for indoor seating, as space is limited. Equally as beautiful, however, is their patio seating which is also dog friendly. For a larger party of friends, the outdoor seating might be the better option.

Prefer to stay in with your girls, chillin' in pajamas? They offer curbside pickup for their menu including alcohol! If you don't feel like driving at all, delivery is available (except for alcohol) through Doordash and GrubHub. So head over to hydehouseboise.com, check out their amazing menu, and make your reservation for Galentine's Day!
