The Weeknd Announces 2022 World Tour
As he gets set to headline the Super Bowl LV Pepsi halftime show, The Weeknd announced a 2022 world tour with SEVERAL dates within driving distance for the Treasure Valley.
It's the After Hours 2022 World Tour! If you can swing it, you should... I've seen the Weeknd perform live, back in 2017 when he did his 'Starboy: Legend Of The Fall Tour', and let me tell you, this guy puts on a SHOW! It was incredible! So, no he doesn't have any dates in Boise or the Treasure Valley which we expected, but there are several tour stops close enough, including Spokane, WA. Let's take a look at the closest dates, shall we?
- The closest he'll get to the Treasure Valley is his stop in Salt Lake City at Vivint Arena March 1, 2022. Just a short 5 hour drive and you're there. This is the most efficient option, for sure.
- He'll then perform in Portland at the Moda Center March 3rd, 2022 which would be fun if you wanted to have enjoy his show on Thursday and then a long weekend in Portland.
- His Seattle show will happen Friday, March 4th, 2022 at Climate Pledge Arena. If you want a nice Seattle trip, this could be the one, but there will be a later Tacoma date.
- If you want a Vegas rage weeknd (see what I did there?), April 23rd, 2022 at T-Mobile Arena is a FRIDAY and would be the perfect Vegas get away. Drive or fly; totally worth it!
- Surprisingly, The Weeknd's tour will hit the Spokane Arena in Spokane, WA on April 30th, 2022 (this is the closest he'll actually get to Idaho).
- Lastly he's got another show near Seattle but in Tacoma at the Tacoma Dome on May 1st, 2022.
The tickets to all these shows go on sale Monday at 10 am (venue location time). I'd imagine after a year of sitting at home, people are going to be psyched about these shows so be ready to snag your tickets!
