The weather is changing here in the Treasure Valley from hot summer days to cool fall nights. With Fall approaching so quickly it's time to start thinking about Halloween.

Along with eating too many fun sized candy bars, you should be looking forward to The Great Downtown Pumpkin Festival going on in Caldwell.

It's going on Saturday, October 19th, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Indian Creek Plaza in the heart of downtown Caldwell.

The event is all about having fun with family, friends, and neighbors.

There will be a pumpkin carving contest, giant pumpkin weigh off, pumpkin pie eating contest, the Indian Creek Pumpkin Race, the downtown wine walk, lots of vendors from 1:00 pm to 5:00 p.m.

The Trunk or Treat event will happen from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. And there will be a movie that starts playing at 8:00 p.m.

Organizers are asking you to leave your pets at home, except for service animals. No sidewalk chalk, No Wheels (skateboards, bicycles, roller blades, scooters, etc.), No smoking or vaping on the Plaza, No outside alcohol permitted on the Plaza, chairs are permitted.
