Idaho Stampede

News out of Salt Lake City this morning is that the Idaho Stampede, who are owned by the Utah Jazz, are moving from Boise to Salt Lake City next year.

MIX 106's DJs JD and Nicole hosted MSTI Night this evening at Century Link Arena with the Idaho Stampede. The Spurs were up at halftime, but our Stampede powered back with 30 points in the 4th and a 100-90 win against Austin. It was Utah Jazz Night at the Idaho Stampede game with MIX 106's Mike and Kate.  The Idaho Stampede played against the Texas Legends.  The house was packed and the crowd was wild.  Mike and Kate raised the energy level during time outs with games and giveaways...

It was a fun night at the Idaho Stampede home opener with MIX 106's Mike and Kate.  The crowd was at the edge of their seats all night, but Iowa stepped it up and unfortunately took the game with the final score of 94-87.  Win or lose, there is nothing like supporting our team right here at home...

Next week, Ike & I get to host the season opener for the Idaho Stampede. I'm so excited, but it's not for the reason you might be thinking.

I am still basking in the glow of a fabulous sports weekend. It began with me getting a BIG win over Kate in the Idaho Stampede Free- Throw shoot out....winning free tacos from Taco Bell for everyone sitting on my side of the Arena. That was just the beginning.

With only 20 seconds to get a listener to guess the phrase, Catch Phrase can get a little out of control. My thought pattern never follows the straight and narrow but today it paid off!

I know the odds are stacked against me. I know on paper it looks like a slam dunk. But don't count out this 5 foot tall feisty baller.
