With just over three weeks until the Election Day, voting is officially open for Ada County. And more than 1000 people showed up for early voting which started yesterday. They also unveiled their new mobile voting unit. They're calling it food truck voting...

We could have record numbers of early voters casting ballots this election, and the new "Food Truck Voting" idea may have a lot to do with it. They've announced the schedule outlining when and where the truck will roll up, and we've got all the info.

Our sister station, 580 KIDO hosted their second debate watch party at Dave & Busters.  I wanted to see what things were like, so i checked things out.  It was interesting.

Today is National Voter Registration Day.  Six million Americans didn't vote in the 2008 election because they missed the registration deadline or didn't know how to register. If you aren't registered to vote by October 14th, you won't be able to participate in early voting, and you'll have to register at the polls on Election Day, which with the long lines, could be a pretty busy time to do that

The winners of Tuesday's school board election have been announced, and they'll be sworn in as Trustees next Monday, September 12th.

Every vote does count.  If one more person had voted in the most recent election there would have been clear winners in two Ada County races.  But since those races ended in ties, a coin flip at the courthouse on Monday afternoon will decide who takes office.

Some experts had predicted we would see a "good" turnout for the Idaho Democratic Caucuses Tuesday, but that was an understatement as the turnout set new records.

If there are only seven people in your town, you only need a few votes to win the mayor's race.  You only need two, actually.  Just two.  Congrats to the new mayor in Clayton, ID.
