Ada County Rolls Out New Mobile Voting Unit for Early Voting
With just over three weeks until the Election Day, voting is officially open for Ada County. And more than 1000 people showed up for early voting which started yesterday.
They also unveiled their new mobile voting unit. They're calling it food truck voting.
The idea of the mobile unit came about two years ago after a polling place went on lock down. They needed to have some way to set up and do it quickly.
When it comes to early voting, you can vote at any open location. It doesn't have to be at your home precinct.
SO, if you’re driving home from work or out running errands and want to stop in somewhere and cast your vote, you can!
Voters can still register to vote during early voting and on Election Day. You'll need to bring your ID and proof of residency.
