Sprint Car Races at Meridian Speedway Getting Started
Just another reason to appreciate the weather getting nicer, this weekend we have Sprint Car Races going on at the Meridian Speedway! Kicking off this Saturday (April 20th) the Sprint Car Opener will have the gates opening at 4:45 p.m. and the racing to begin at 6:45 p.m.
If you've never been it is a lot of fun! The drivers are normally very good and you are so close to the action. General admission tickets are going to cost you $12, for senior citizens or military members (thank you for your service) it will cost you $10, and kids aged 7-11 are $7 per person.
There will be lots of racing going on will all of the following hitting the track on Saturday:
- Speed Tour Regional Sprint Cars
- Pepsi Crate Cars & ISRL
- Coors Super Stocks
- Domino's Legends
- Factory Motor Parts Mini-Stocks
- Firehouse Bombers
Last summer when I visited the Meridian Speedway it was a lot of fun with lots of food and beverage options for you to choose from. To kick off the racing this weekend there will be a $2 Keystone Light special going on. So, it might be a good idea to plan a sober driver now.
