See These Oreos at Walmart or Albertsons? They Could Win You $50,000
When it comes to Oreos, I'm a bit of a traditionalist. I don't want any fancy flavors like cookie butter, birthday cake or raspberry fudge creme. I don't need mine to be double stuffed or mega stuffed. The original cookie is perfectly fine for me!
I'll make an exception for the Halloween, Christmas and Easter Oreos. They may have a different color filling, but they taste exactly like the originals so no harm, no foul. But Monday night as I walked through Walmart, I was faced with a very difficult decision. Do I scoop up a bag of my beloved Halloween cookies or try these:
Oreo just launched their Mystery Oreo contest for 2019. If you're someone who's got some pretty fine tuned taste buds and you stumble across a bag of these at Walmart, WinCo, Albertsons or some other Treasure Valley grocer grab them, because you could win some serious cash.
They may look like the classic Oreo cookie you're used to, but the cream on the inside won't taste like the cookie you know. Your job is to figure out EXACTLY what that mystery flavor is. If you submit the correct guess to MysteryOREO.com before November 10, you'll have a shot at $50,000 in cold, hard cash. The cream could be something completely new or a mash-up of two existing Oreo flavors, so get really creative with your guesses. You're allowed to submit up to 25 guesses per day throughout the duration of the contest and you've got plenty of time becuase these cookies were just released in Boise on Monday.
Early critiques of this year's flavor have people convinced that cinnamon is a major part of the flavor profile since you can smell it as soon as you open up the bag.
The last time Oreo ran this contest, the mystery flavor was Fruity Pebbles.
