The forecast is showing colder weather returning to Boise this weekend, but I'm just taking it for what it is - the perfect opportunity to grab some comfort food with friends. Enjoy Ramen noodles and looking for something fun to do this weekend? Manfred's is hosting a pop-up Ramen Restaurant on the Basque Block that you won't want to miss!

The (not-so) "secret" restaurant will take place in the basement of the Basque Center from 1pm-7pm this Saturday, January 20, though you'll have to look for signs on 6th Street as the main doors will not lead you there. Once inside expect family style seating, delicious food, and cold drinks.

Ramen bowls are $13 and include Snake River Farms Kurobuta pork belly and shoulder, crisped kale, soft boiled egg, pickled shiitake, radish, green onion, and ponzu roasted sweet potato. Vegetarian and vegan options will also be available. The bar is cash only and will be serving wine, beer, and kalimotxos.
