I can recall when I first moved out of my parents’ home right after high school. It was one of the dumbest decisions I could’ve made at that time because I had no idea what I was getting myself into. Like most young “adults” figuring out life when they first move out, I was reckless and often found myself scraping up money to feed myself. What can I say? I was irresponsible and wanted the “college experience” without actually going to class…. Didn’t I tell you it was one of the dumbest decisions I made?

There are many things I took away in life from those experiences during that time. Number one, of course, was to save your money. If I’m going to remain 100% transparent, all of the lessons after that kind of blend together. I really wish I could Matthew McConaughey my way through three simple lessons to follow in life but instead, I’m left with lessons and experiences scattered throughout the memories of that time in my life. One of the most prominent memories I carry is those I had with ramen noodles. That’s correct. Out of all of the milestones in my formative years, the one constant in those times was ramen noodles. I could remember several times when I was in a bind from being irresponsible with my money. I would be so worried about how I would feed myself that day until I remembered my good old friend, ramen noodles would be there.

The fancy ramen that is made by actual professionals... masters of their craft.
