According to the Idaho Press, A small airplane crashed into a thankfully unoccupied house at about 8:30pm. The airplane was a two-seat SeaRey LSX a small airplane that according to the National Transportation Board an amphibian kit plane.

The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the cause of the crash. The plane went into the house just a few mile east of the Logan-Cache Airport. It is still not known if the plane had just taken off or was trying to land back at the airport when something went wrong and the plane crashed.
The plane was completely (other than just the tail) was fully inside the home, it went right through the roof of the two story house. According to the Idaho State Journal, Responders worked at the scene for hours after the crash. We have not heard from the homeowners yet either. Thank goodness again that no one was home when the impact happened. Where they just at work for the day when the plane crashed or are they out on vacation with a very interesting situation to come home from? Could you imagine going home to find a plane in your house? Our thoughts and prayers go out to the pilots family and loved ones.
