No Cooling In Sight, Boise Limiting Water, Ice and Gatorade

Well, that's great! I thought Summer was supposed to bring all this great outdoor fun with one exception, it's too hot!

I've recently been seeing signs around Boise with rules on water bottle purchases and ice bag limits. The drought is just beginning with not cooling temperatures insight.

I was just writing this article as someone looking over my shoulder with a sigh, "That's not true. I know someone that saw an entire pallet of Water and Gatorade." Okay, well that doesn't mean anything DJ scientist. There are signs being posted every day at area Albertsons, Fred Meyer and just saw a new one at Jackson's in Downtown Boise.

So, is this shortage real? That is an actual question because there is no doubt someone will think it's a scam to sell items. Could this be another "toilet paper-gate?" To answer that, we did have a shortage of those items during the pandemic. The problem is that we bought so much, it hurt other people in need of paper towels, toilet paper, hand sanitizer, and more.

Suez asked people to conserve during the heatwave and quit watering lawns. What about Gatorade? I heard the cashiers discussing that when checking out today. You can also get prepared for empty Gatorade shelves if you haven't already noticed them. This is like so many things that went empty during the pandemic and companies are still trying to catch up. We saw this on the 4th of July around the firework shortage. It wasn't as bad as expected, but it was great.

Places to Get Ice and Never Leave Your Car

I have two places you might want to check for ice. Why would you need ice? Mine personally burnt out and it's too expensive to replace the door. It's Summer and people camp, barbecue, river raft and so much more. There are a ton of reasons and you can try these locations. You might have to ask a few times if they don't know. I feel like it's a secret, but not really. I just spoke to someone that said they have a button but don't use it much. I was like, "a button?" and she explained it was $2 dollars. You right also ask because the bags are typically larger and much cheaper than the store.
