Mike’s Vacation Photos and Videos From M.L.B. Spring Training in Arizona

I've vacationed in Arizona in the spring about a half dozen times over the years. Why do I keep returning to the same spot? I love it. You can get great cheap tickets to see your favorite baseball teams up close, and the weather is always great. This past week it was 75 and sunny compared to the 40s and raining here in Boise. The only thing I wish, was that my team, the Seattle Mariners, could perform better. Sigh. If you or your family haven't visited the greater Phoenix area before, I highly encourage you to do it.

There are a variety of non-stop flights from Boise to Phoenix (hello $40 flights on Allegiant) and there's just SO much to do. Between spring training, golfing, sightseeing, the casinos and fantastic food...throw in the affordable price and it's a no-brainer when it comes to vacationing.
