Mike & Nicole’s OPP: Targeting People with Weight Struggles
Dear Mike and Nicole,
I am writing because of a large fight that occurred during my daughter's Girl Scout meeting last week. The mothers and Scout members were discussing where to sell Girl Scout cookies when one mother said she plans to sell them outside of diet centers, like Weight Watchers, and various health clubs. As someone, who has battled a weight problem for their entire life this outraged me. The other mother and I engaged in a screaming match before other Scout mothers jumped in and took sides. I think it's wrong and in poor taste to sell cookies outside of health clubs and diet centers. The other mother says it's smart business. What is this practice teaching our kids? What can I do to stop her from doing this?
