Meridian Shelter Helping to Get Pet’s Adopted
This Saturday, September 9th at the Meridian Canine Rescue it's time to start paring up puppies and humans. The National Pet Adoption Weekend will be here sooner than we think. Are you ready for it?
Now that small human and even the bigger ones are back in class, that furry family members are in need of some extra attention. During this one day event, a Treasure Valley shelter is determined to find some new homes for your next furry mate. The event celebrating a day of Nation wide adoptions, will not only be finding new homes for these k9 counterparts, but also agility exercises, games, stuffing Kongs, and more. Starting at 1 p.m you're invited to come to the shelter at 501 E. Scenery Ln, in Meridian to get the rather quick process rolling. I remember going and getting so many new family members at shelters around the valley, so I'm pretty excited about this event. On top of the events, you can bring the entire family out to "Ask A Trainor" sessions. So if there is the one in the fam who isn't quite sold yet on getting the new puppy, ease their mind by talking to a professional. The event is FREE and charges will only be applied to the pet adoption fee. Make sure to dress to the nines in Back To School gear as it's the Theme of the day.
