Larry Miller Subaru Boise Gives To Local Charities

I love when businesses right here in Boise give back to the community! Larry H. Miller Subaru does just that. Subaru’s Share the Love program raises money for hometown charities.

Through this program, Larry H. Miller Subaru has the opportunity to select a local charity for the list of organizations that new Subaru owners and lessees select from to receive a $250 donation per vehicle from Subaru of America, Inc. They invited customers to vote for their favorite charities between November 2015 and January 2016.

Larry H. Miller Subaru Boise presented the winners with their donation checks. A check for $20,250 to the Idaho Humane Society and a check for $11,000 to Ride for Joy.

The Idaho Humane Society will use the donation to support their shelter operations. Ride for Joy, a therapeutic riding program for children with cognitive and physical disabilities and veterans suffering from physical, mental or emotional injuries, will use the donation to help underwrite the cost of lessons.

In November, Subaru of America, Inc. pledged to donate $15 million for this year’s event, but due to record sales, the company added an additional $3.5 million for a total of $18.5 million!
