NFL football is back! If you caught the season opener, you sure did hear some former Broncos mentioned...a lot.

Maybe you had Thursday night's season opener between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers  and Dallas Cowboys on in the background as you were helping the kids with the homework or cleaning up after dinner. Plenty of people expected the defending Super Bowl Champions to roll over the Cowboys, but after four turnovers and some other sloppy plays it came down to final 90 seconds of the game. With the Cowboys up by one, Tom Brady got the ball back and did what Tom Brady does. He was able to connect with one of his Buccaneers receivers, get the team into position for a final field goal attempt and pulled off the 31-29 win.

During the game, Al Michaels and Chris Collinsworth mentioned Kellen Moore's name so many times that it could've easily been turned into a drinking game. They gave him a lot of credit for his offensive play calling and not just relying on their star running back, Ezekiel Elliot.

But the lovefest for former Boise State Broncos didn't end there! If you stayed up late enough to watch Jimmy Fallon, you saw some familiar faces. After his monologue, he handed out some early season "superlatives" for players on both the Buccaneers and Cowboys. He kicked things off with Rob Gronkowski, giving him the superlative "Most Likely to Yell 'Spring Break!' in September."

The very next player? Boise State's own Leighton Vander Esch! Fallon gave the star linebacker the honor of "Most Likely to Have Neck Day at the Gym." Later in the bit, he handed out a superlative to defensive end and former Bronco, Demarcus Lawrence, as well. That one, you really have to see to understand so we tracked down the video for you to watch!

Vader Esch, Lawrence and offensive coordinator, Moore continue to prepare for their next game against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.
