When it comes to events around the Treasure Valley, there's no shortage of things to do. Whether you love concerts or sports, hikes or community service--there is certainly something happening in the area and that is just one piece of what is so special about living here.

Coming up in April is a second year event that families are already looking forward to at the Boise Public Library--and it's free!

To be hosted by the Boise Public Library, the Idaho Commission on Hispanic Affairs--and many other local partners-- children of all ages are welcome to take part in 'Dia de los Ninos', for a second year, this time at the Boise Public Library.

Often known just as 'Dia', the day centered around both children and reading and takes places each year, on April 30th. We're excited to see that the tradition is now making its way to Boise and is being powered by so many great, local organizations.

  • Kids will have a chance to win all sorts of really
  • Many different vendors will have resources and characters on site for entertainment
  • There will be a reading stage--for kids to hear great books read to them by local celebrities!  Last year, this featured the likes of Boise City Councilwoman Holli Woodings & Honorable Judge (retired) Sergio Gutierrez.

Interested in joining the party? How couldn't you be!?
