It's True, Everything Really Does go Better With Bacon

This is why I’m not rich yet. I love bacon and I love Oreo cookies, yet I was too stupid to think of combining the two. And now someone else has come up with this fantastic idea for this little bit of gastro-heaven.

Anybody who's listened to Mix morning showgram knows of my love of bacon. I truly believe it is a super food. I have yet to find anything that doesn't not only go with bacon, but make it taste better. With that being said, I can't wait to try this. Sounds like a perfect Christmas treat to team along with my chocolate covered bacon this year.

A blog called Oh Bite It just unveiled a tasty, all-American creation that looks not only delicious, but super simple to make: Bacon wrapped deep-fried Oreos. Once again, help me spread the motto: "Everything goes better with bacon"

Here's how you make them

1. Wrap an Oreo with an entire piece of bacon, covering up as much of the cookie as you can. Hold the bacon in place by putting a toothpick through it, sticking into the cream filling.

2. Deep fry it in oil.

3. Let it cool off a little bit, but eat it warm.

4. Drink, Rinse and repeat.

5. Try not to have your arteries harden right before your eyes. (hey, nobody said it was healthy, only that is was delicious)
