Idaho Has a Huge Advantage in the Potato Bowl
Even though they're not based in Boise, it looks like Idaho will have a big home-field advantage in tomorrow's Famous Idaho Potato Bowl.
Very few from Colorado are coming up to watch!
The Coloradoan says Colorado State is going to fall short of its break-even point with ticket sales, and only 445 tickets have been sold so far. Advantage Idaho! A big one apparently. Of the ticket sales to Rams fans, 391 are going to the general public and 54 to students. Albertsons Stadium seats about 36,000, so that leaves plenty of room for Vandals fans.
Colorado State and Idaho play in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl at Albertsons Stadium Thursday at 5pm, and it will be on ESPN if you'd rather watch in the sports bar. But it might be fun to watch an Idaho team in a bowl game in our own back yard. Go Vandals!
