A Moment Like This

Kelly Clarkson was right. Some people wait a lifetime for a moment like this. If we had to ballpark it, this particular moment is somewhere between 70-to-80 years in the making. But you won't hear us complaining.

If there's one thing our team of thirty and forty-somethings believe, it's that patience is a virtue and skinny jeans are timeless. Okay, so two things. All the same, if not for the age-old proverb, we might have thrown in the proverbial towel.

It Happened One Night

Then, it happened. In an instant, a casual stroll through Boise Townsquare Mall escalated from ordinary to extraordinary when we discovered an Idaho granny and teen about to face-off in an epic drag race.

Granny sat atop her steed-like motorized wheelchair ready to burn rubber. The teen steadied himself on the kiddie quad he rented for eight minutes.

And then they were off. We don't know what spurred the most random drag race of the 21st Century, but it was epic. Like, EPIC. And the crash encounter with the mall kiosk?! Amazing.
