Idaho Congressional Delegation Not Planning Town Halls
If you've watched the news over the last week, undoubtedly you've seen coverage of the town hall events where Republican Congress and Senate members have faced protesters.
There have been differing accounts of whether the protesters were constituents, professional protestors, or agitators, but one thing that has become clear is if anyone from the Congressional Delegation is holding a town hall, there is a good chance it will be interrupted.
Our entire Idaho Delegation while home from Washington D.C. ruing their recess this week determined they would not hold town halls. That's why you may haven noticed a "missing persons" campaign with posters around the Treasure Valley and on social media.
Senators Mike Crapo and Jim Risch and Representative Mike Simpson have haven't announced plans to hold any town halls in the near future. Representative Raul Labrador has said he plans to soon.
