Has This Teacher Stepped Over The Line?

Teachers in the Treasure Valley don't get enough credit for the hard work they do day in and day out. And I don't mean the crazy that comes from the kids...sometimes parent's are just as bad. This time though I have to side with parents. Let me explain...

My lil brother has three young ones, one of them is in 2nd grade and during his computer class his teacher explained to the class that Democrats are fair and Republicans are not. Beyond the rage that has been fuming from my brother the last few days...thankfully the fact that his boy  is 8 years old the thought really didn't set in. It just sparked a wicked conversation on his Facebook page. Is this fair for teachers to push their agenda, give an opinion, even say anything to kids regardless of the age when it comes to politics or religion?

I completely understand the climate of our political process in the country right now is completely crazy. The "Trump Tape" that came out today 10/7, or the email scandal from the Clinton Camp. It's just messy. And as a parent to two growing boy, how do we navigate the negative that bombards the airwaves and our TV screens every night. I'd love to go back to him with some advice from you. Just trying to be a good big brother, but this one is a mind bender. - JD
